1. Avoid excessive moisture - don't submerge in water for long periods. Moisture can cause oxidation on the 925 sterling silver underneath

2. Protect from chemicals like perfumes, cream, sunscreen and lotions and household cleaners.

3. Store in a dry, non-humid environment. Keep in a zipped plastic bag or EME IVANY pouch after cleaning.

How to clean Gold Vermeil Jewelry? 

General Cleaning:

Clean gently with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners as it can damage the plating.

Deep cleaning using baking soda:

1. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with a half bowl of hot water in a small container.
2. Soak your gold vermeil  piece in the solution. Make sure the whole piece is covered by the water.
3. Gently scrub the piece with a soft toothbrush.
4. Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove all the baking soda.
5. Dry the jewelry with a soft cloth or paper

Remark: Deep cleaning is only recommended when the item is heavily oxidated. Otherwise, general cleaning is enough.
