Cubic zirconia (CZ) is a high-quality, man-made gemstone that is designed to look like a diamond. It is completely colorless and very hard, rating 8-8.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. This makes CZ very durable and long-lasting. Since it is manmade, cubic zirconia is an ethical, conflict-free, and sustainable gemstone option. CZ is polished using the same methods as diamonds, giving it an attractive sparkle. Yet, it is much more affordable than diamonds.
